Notes:	Sitting on the edge of Walkhampton Common north of Leeden Tor, East Tor is easy to find because of it's proximity to the old Princetown railway line and the samll stone bridge that crosses it.

	Parking
	The nearest car park is at SX 550723 however the more conventional place to leave your car is in one of the car parks on the B3212 (SX 561709)

	Military Ranges
	East Tor does not sit in or nearby a military range.

	Bog
	There is no boggy ground around this tor

	Difficulty
	Easy. Can be reached by simply following the old railway line or a little cross country walking if you prefer

Leg	Instruction
1	Leave your car at either the car park just below Sharpitor (SX 556706) or a little further down the hill (SX 561709)
2	Follow the well worn path from SX561709 along until you hit the old Princetown railway line.
3	Follow the line to the north for around half a mile and you will find Ingra Tor. Please be careful if you climb the tor as there is a small (but deep) quarry to the east which has no barriers to prevent you falling.
4	Back on the railway line, continue for another half a mile until you find the old stone bridge that crosses the line. To the east of this you will find East Tor.
5	The path from East Tor to Leeden Tor is obvious and well trodden. Follow this until you reach the plateau at the summit of Leeden Tor then head in a southerly direction back toward to road and car parks.
6	You can cut this walk short at this point or if you are feeling more energetic, cross the road and head for Leather Tor which sits to the left of Sharpitor as you are looking at them.
7	Scramble to the top of Leather Tor to enjoy spectacular views of Burrator and the rest of Walkhampton Common. Be careful up there.... the ridge gives way to shear drops on both sides.
8	From Leather Tor head WSW to Lowery Tor then up the hill to the summit of Peek Hill. Views from up here are some of the best on the moor!
9	Finally cross the ridge to Sharpitor and back to your car.
